Competing at the highest level, constantly improving and passing on her ever-evolving knowledge. These are the three ambitions of this Swiss-Spanish rider.<\/h2>\n<\/div>

P<\/span><\/strong>atricia Segura began riding at an early age and decided to make it her profession at the age of 18. Trained under Geneva master rider Francis Menoud, she acquired solid know-how and a deep respect for horses. After obtaining her CFC, she enriched her training with a federal diploma and training courses, working as a freelance horsewoman on farms in French-speaking Switzerland, specializing in training young horses.<\/p>\n

In 2012, a Geneva breeder noticed her and entrusted her with her horses, with which Patricia competed first in Switzerland, then throughout Europe up to grand prix level. Her career took a new turn in 2018 when she met Italian international rider Luca Moneta. Through him, she discovered a natural approach to riding based on observation and understanding of the horse’s personality.<\/p>\n

This method aims to achieve the right compromise: being accepted and understood by the animal while preserving its body and mind. Characterized by the absence of overly restrictive reins and mouthpieces, this free-roaming approach allows for a more natural relationship between rider and horse, and therefore greater harmony. For Patricia, victory in horse riding is not about winning, but about achieving union with the horse, by understanding and respecting its personality, history and reactions, which are often a reflection of the rider’s own emotions.<\/p>\n

Today, Patricia Segura incorporates these techniques and her vision of riding into her teaching, while continuing to compete in Europe, particularly in Switzerland, Spain and Italy.
In 2025, she is a recognized international rider and coach, sharing her experience with her students at the Centre \u00e9questre de Versoix – La B\u00e2tie in Geneva, where her private stable has been in residence for more than ten years.<\/p>\n<\/div>
